The Journey and Building Begins

We started with the building of a barn style building. Why? For practice and for storing all our materials for our house. It has become a lovely place to sit under the porch and enjoy our “Buena Vista”.

Water = Gold

We didn’t expect it to be such a beautiful moment when you hit water for your well on your own property. Without it you can’t do much. We had to pick the spot so we carried responsibility and not the well driller. And we were lucky we hit water and lots of it. Awesome / Fantastisch!!! Water well was reached at 110 feet / 40 meter. And we have lots of it >50 gallon per minute (zo’n 150 liter pm). Below video of when after a full day of drilling we reach water…

Breaking ground

Highly anticipated, it started the evening of September 12, 2018. Unfortunately not much has happened since… Making us anxious, stay tuned…
